Reporting a Wrong Value

This is the most useful email you can send. Please include the page address, the number we show and the number you expected. If you have a source — a standards document, a manufacturer's spec, a textbook — mentioning it makes the fix immediate. Every correction gets checked against the definitions on our how we calculate page, and if we were wrong the fix ships the same day.

Requesting a Conversion

We only publish conversions we can write properly, so the list is deliberately short and grows by request. Tell us what you were looking for and what you were trying to do with it; the context is what lets us write a page worth reading rather than a page with a number on it. Area, speed, time, digital storage, pressure and cooking-by-weight are already on the list.

Everything Else

Questions about the definitions, the rounding, the test suite or how the site is built are all welcome at the same address. We do not run a contact form, because a form means storing what you typed; email keeps it between you and us.
