The conversion values, formulas and tables on this site are facts and definitions, and you may use them for anything: homework, recipes, client work, printed charts for a classroom or a commercial kitchen. No attribution is required, though a link is always appreciated. The written explanations, examples and page text are our own work and are not licensed for republication; please link to the page instead of copying it.

Accuracy and Liability

We take accuracy seriously: every value comes from an exact published definition and is checked by an automated test suite before each deploy, as described on how we calculate. Even so, the site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Verify any value independently before relying on it for medical dosing, engineering tolerances, legal filings, trade documentation or anything else where an error would be costly. We are not liable for losses arising from use of the site.

Availability

The site is a set of static files and we aim to keep it online continuously, but we make no uptime commitment and may change, move or remove pages. Addresses of published conversion pages will be redirected rather than broken wherever that is practical.

Automated Access

Crawling the site for search indexing or AI answer engines is welcome, and our robots.txt allows it. Please crawl at a reasonable rate. Bulk scraping to republish our page text is not permitted; if you want the underlying conversion data for a project, email us and we will likely just give it to you.
