This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and collects no personal data. There is nothing to opt out of, which is why you were not shown a banner.

What We Collect

Nothing, in the sense that matters: no accounts, no cookies, no local storage, no fingerprinting, no advertising identifiers, no third-party scripts of any kind. Every page is a static file. The converter runs entirely in your browser and nothing you type into it leaves your device.

Server Logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs: the requested address, the time, the HTTP status, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string, along with your IP address. These exist to keep the site working and to block abuse. They are kept for 14 days and then deleted. They are not combined with any other data, not used to build a profile and not shared with anyone.

Third Parties

The site loads no fonts, scripts, images or stylesheets from other domains, so no third party sees your visit. Pages link out to standards bodies such as NIST and the BIPM; those links are marked and only followed if you click them. We do not use Google Analytics or any equivalent.

Advertising

The site carries no advertising today. If that changes we will update this page before any ad code goes live, name the network, and say exactly what it collects. If a network requires consent in your region, you will be asked for it properly rather than through a dark pattern. Nothing will be collected retroactively about visits made before that change.

Your Rights

Because we hold no personal data beyond short-lived server logs, there is normally nothing to access, export or erase. If you believe a log entry identifies you and you want it removed, email hello 'at' howmanyinone.com with the approximate time and we will remove it. Under the GDPR the lawful basis for keeping those logs is legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.

Children

The site is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
